Great Lunches for Great Kids

As a parent, you’re naturally concerned about what your child eats every day. And perhaps, like so many others, you’ve considered the convenience of a school meal program.

At the same time, you’re concerned about quality, safety, and cost.

We’re Parents, too

We at The LunchMaster are parents first and foremost. Our mission is to deliver high quality, highly nutritious meals that kids actually eat and enjoy—at a price that compares favorably with those prepared at home.

The parents we serve say they can’t provide better meals for the price. For example, a home-prepared turkey-and-cheese sandwich served with an apple, snack, and beverage costs $4 – $5. A pre-made grocery store lunch may cost about the same, but it can also be higher in sodium, fat, and sugar.

Parents also tell us that our meals look and smell so good they wish they could eat them too.

A Typical Meal

A meal from The LunchMaster typically features a freshly prepared entrée, fruit, vegetable, healthy snack, and healthy beverage.

In fact, we offer at least eight healthy choices a day—including at least two vegetarian options. We can even help make your child’s birthday a special event at school.

We’re proud to say that The LunchMaster meals:

• Are low in fat—including trans fats—and sugar
• Use whole grains, fresh produce, and antibiotic-free, hormone-free meat
• Feature hormone- and rBST-free milk

Dietitian-Approved

Our menus are designed by Registered Dietitian Melissa Manning. A mother herself, she knows what kids love, and her continuous oversight ensures that our meals meet strict state of California standards.

In addition, we are always seeking feedback about our meals from both parents and kids. At The LunchMaster, great meals are a collaborative effort!

It’s Easy to Be Green

The LunchMaster is always on the lookout for better, more environmentally friendly ways to package and serve our meals.

The plates we use, for example, are not only strong and bend-resistant but also 100% biodegradable. They’re compostable within 60 to 90 days. And that’s something anyone can cheer about!

Make Your Kid’s Birthday the Best Ever!

Did you know that The LunchMaster can bring the ingredients for a great birthday celebration directly to your child’s school?

We can drop off a yummy and nutritious pizza lunch—including party hats and plates—at your child’s classroom. Each child receives:

• Two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza
• Fresh-cut fresh fruit
• Whole-grain cookie
• A healthy drink – 1% milk, nonfat chocolate milk, bottled water, or orange juice
