Have you been thinking about introducing a lunch program to your school or upgrading an existing one? Are you concerned about cost, complexity, or quality issues?

The LunchMaster answers these concerns. We’ve worked successfully with 100+ Bay Area schools for 20 years—and have recently opened a Sacramento location. Our mission is to provide delicious, nutritious, and affordable lunches every day of the school year.

We Make Lunch Simple…

The LunchMaster brings great meals to your school, with minimal work to you—even if you already use other vendors. We offer the following options:

• Direct online ordering by parents through our user-friendly system
• The ability to order meals in bulk quickly and easily
• “Free and reduced” meal reimbursement through school lunch programs

By the way, we also provide breakfast, à la carte items, such as our delicious pizza, for your fund-raising efforts, and healthy snacks. And if your school hosts catered events, we can handle those, too!

… And Affordable

The parents we serve tell us that they can’t provide better meals for the price. For example, a home-prepared turkey-and-cheese sandwich served with an apple, snack, and beverage costs between $4 and $5. A pre-made lunch bought at the grocery store may cost about the same but can also be higher in sodium, fat, and sugar.

A Typical Meal

Our delicious lunches typically feature a freshly prepared entrée, fruit, vegetable, healthy snack, and healthy beverage.

In fact, we offer at least eight menu choices a day—including at least two vegetarian options.

We’re proud to say that The LunchMaster meals are:

• Are low in fat—including trans fats—and sugar
• Use whole grains, fresh produce, and antibiotic-free, hormone-free meat
• Include hormone- and rBST-free low-fat milk, cheese, and dairy products

Dietitian-Approved

Our menus are designed by Registered Dietitian Melissa Manning. A mother herself, she knows what kids love, and her continuous oversight ensures that our meals meet strict standards.

In addition, we are always seeking feedback about our meals from both parents and kids. At The LunchMaster, great meals are a collaborative effort!

It’s Easy to Be Green

The LunchMaster is always on the lookout for better, more environmentally friendly ways to package and serve our meals.

The plates we use, for example, are not only strong and bend-resistant but also 100% biodegradable. They’re compostable within 60 to 90 days. And that’s something any school administrator can cheer about!
